Dear customers,

In order to protect our customers, customer recipients (Recipient) and our employees (Couriers) during the COVID-19 quarantine period, we have introduced contactless delivery.

Contactless delivery procedure for individuals

The recipient’s signature in the courier scanner is changed to one of the following to avoid direct contact:

  • The consignee is requested to sign (name, signature) on the VENIPAK sticker on the consignment. The courier will take a photo of the parcel sticker with the signature (Recommended method);
  • If the Recipient refuses to sign on the sticker, the Courier and his scanner take a photo of the shipment with the Recipient without photographing the Recipient’s face; After the photos are taken, a scanner entry is attached to the shipment as a confirmation of delivery of the shipment. In the scanner, at the signature site, the courier will write a “Contactless Delivery” tag.
  • NEW! The courier asks the Recipient to show a valid ID of his / her identity remotely, and the courier enters the last 4 digits of the document number (not the personal code) into his scanner. -Eligible documents: passport, ID card, driver’s license, residence permit in Lithuania. The courier scans the Recipient’s name and scans the dictated digits instead of the signature.

Other changes to service delivery to avoid direct contact:

  • Consignees will only be able to pay for their goods using bank cards at the time of delivery. Couriers will temporarily not accept cash;
  • Custom stevedoring works are performed only up to the doors of private premises;
  • The courier may not enter apartments or private homes other than public areas, y. Stairs, corridors, etc. Access to business premises is not restricted.
